Pavers

At Associated Group Remodeling our contractors specialize in paver design and installation. Pavers are unique in that they come in all sizes, shapes, colors and materials. There are brick pavers, stone pavers, concrete pavers, limestone pavers, granite pavers, travertine pavers, sandstone pavers and Mexican pavers. Pavers are interlocking and rely on their placement and friction to keep them in place. It doesn’t matter if your house or commercial property is primarily in warm or cool tones-there are dozens of paver colors to choose from.

Pavers are not only aesthetically beautiful, but they are also incredibly functional. How many driveways have you seen that have been forever ruined by an oil or grease spill? In addition, it doesn’t matter where you live, because of the weather and the earth’s movement, concrete is prone to cracking. However, pavers will never crack because of the way they are installed. Pavers unlike concrete are not a solid mass, they do not have mortar. Sand is used for the grout which holds them in place. The sand also allows for slight movement which prevents any cracking.

If a paver is damaged for some reason, it can be easily replaced. If an oil spill occurs on your driveway, all you have to do is pop out the damaged paver. At Associated Group Remodeling, we will leave you with a hand full of extra pavers just in case one ever needs replacing. Pavers allow an individual to take an ordinary driveway and turn it into a piece of beautiful art.

Benefits of Pavers:

  • Pavers are incredibly durable and are suitable for commercial purposes
  • Because of the texture of the paver, they are skid resistant
